Communication course for children and teenagers
The Course of Effective Communication will help children and adolescents develop key skills that will make it easier for them to express themselves at school and in everyday life. Confident expression, the ability to react effectively, to manage stage fright and to recognise manipulation are all important not only in learning but also in interpersonal relationships.
In courses divided according to the age of the participants, we will focus on rhetoric, assertiveness, argumentation and communication strategies that will help children and adolescents to acquire the skills needed for confident speaking and meaningful dialogue. They will learn to better defend their opinions, resolve conflicts and understand the emotions of others. Emphasis will also be placed on non-verbal communication and voice work, which play a key role in conveying information.
The course is interactive - students will learn new skills through games, model situations and practical exercises. As a result, they will not only strengthen their confidence, but also learn to communicate naturally and with respect for others. The course takes place in the form of a circle in schools. 🔹 Listening and Empathy - how to better understand others and build quality relationships
🔹 Argumentation and Persuasive Speaking - how to defend your point of view and have a constructive discussion
🔹 Argumentation fouls and manipulation - how to recognise incorrect arguments and defend yourself against manipulation
🔹 Communication strategies - how to express yourself in different situations (e.g. when presenting, debating, or resolving conflict)
🔹 Conflict Resolution and Negotiation - how to handle disputes calmly and effectively
🔹 Nonverbal Communication - how to work with body language, gestures, and voice
🔹 Confident Speaking - how to overcome stage fright and gain confidence when speaking in public
The topics are adapted to the age of the children and are done in a playful and interactive way so that the participants learn the skills naturally and with joy.
Age categories
Pupils are divided into categories according to class and age, usually as follows:
Level 0: 4th and 5th grade (9 - 10 years old, exceptionally younger gifted pupils)
Level 1: 6th and 7th grade (11-13 years old)
Level 2: 8th and 9th grade primary school (13-15 years)
Level 3: from 15 years of age - pupils of secondary schools and grammar schools
